You are facing a license suspension. You should hire a local attorney to help you yo avoid NC Points and Insurance Points. You could get the ticket handled yourself without an attorney but it would impact your insurance rates.

Q: I got a ticket for going 85 mph in a 65 mph zone in Gaston county NC and was wondering if i could use a PJC

I have only 1 other ticket which was in York County SC for running a stop sign. I need my car for work and cant afford to lose my license. If i am able to use a PJC how would I use it?

You should try to get it reduced to an improper equipment. You do qualify for a PJC but I wouldn't recommend using it.
