I have been given F4 visa to immigrate to USA , which will atomically give me a green card . do i need to apply for a social security number separately or do i get my social security number automatically

it depends, when you submit your immigration document and request a social security number, they will send you a social security card along with your green card, otherwise you have to apply it separately.
