If I understand your question, I think you are asking if the time you spend on probation counts against the time you might have to serve if the probation is revoked.

If the charge is attempted murder of a police officer, the defendant is almost certainly locked up. Absolutely! As long as the other person played some part in the sale, he can be found guilty. The part can be as small as driving the seller to the transaction.
