Q: I can I enter the US on the ESTA (visa waiver program) before my H1B start date?
Hi, I am a British citizen currently living in Canada. I have applied for an been issued an H1B visa, with a start date of January 4th. I was wondering if I can I enter the US on the ESTA (visa waiver program) before the start date, say December 13th? My American wife is pregnant and due on December 20th. I am happy to leave the US for a few days and come back through on the H1B visa.
