Q: Harassment and retaliation in the work place
Hello. My situation has been ongoing and not resolved for nearly a year and a half. I have been assaulted which I did report to my HR Director. After the conversation with the HR director I was advised he would talk to him. The following day I was approached aggressively by my supervisor pointing his finger in my face advising me never to go to HR on him again. He stated he was untouchable due to his connections to Retirement Systems of Alabama heads and Chairman of the Board. Many things have occurred after this initial confrontation which resulted into 3 separate corporate level complaints. Still nothing is being done. They basically said he is untouchable and have to be careful when addressing him. I have been retaliated against after each initial complained logged. I have received a hand written note from an associate advising me to watch myself. Much more to follow.
