Q: Passenger of car wreck suffering injury years later.
I was on the highway with a buddy my buddy was the driver... It was about 11pm. We were going the speed limit and also sober. Out of nowhere a construction driver was on the side of the road and he drove right in front of us. We clipped the side of his vehicle and spun about 5 times and ran into a medien. He had his hazard lights on and I was told by police he was in the right that we had to yield to him since he had blinking lights. It was clearly impossible to avoid him we tried go turn into a different lane and that's the only reason we didn't have a head on collision with him we just clipped him. Shouldn't they have to yield to us to a certain extent?
A: You were injured years later--if you are asking can you make a claim, if a passenger I'd sue both but if it's "years" chances are there is a statute of limitations issue.Contact a member of the State of Washington Assn for Justice.
