San Antonio, TX asked in Employment Law, Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation for Texas

Q: I work for HEB and was recently injured on the job, i was wondering what kind of benefits i have or if i have a case?

In june i got injured while on the job, at the time i thought i had a messed up rib, so i wrote a report and they started me on their return to work program. The doctors they sent me to were horrible, never truly checked on me, just a eyeball and assumption. After 3 months i had enough and left the program for my own doctor. They were able to diagnose me and fix the problem in a week, i had a bulging disk, an easy catch but their doctors never properly took a look at me. They refused my request for a new doctor, they tried to accommodate with easier positions, but i still couldnt preform them, and when HR told my store that they could find a position elsewhere within the company as long as my store pays for it, my store refused the offer, because they didnt want to pay me if i wasnt working in their store. They refused to give me compensation for the hours i missed, refused workers comp, and refused to help me after i went to my own doctor, do i have a presentable case here?
