Q: I'm 19 years old & my girl it's 17 year old can she leave whit me if I'm working full time job ?

But her parents don't want her to leave but she does because they don't let me be whit her . N I'm in Texas state

A: A 17 year old can make their own choices. As long as you are within 3 years of age the Romeo and Juliet law is applicable as a affirmative defense to prosecution. Having a job is of no legal consequence but is a good idea. If you expect a long term relationship you would be so much better off to seek counseling and try to get along with the family. If you have children grandparents can be awesome.

On a side note, a general rule of thumb to determine appropriate age for a partner if to take the older person's age, say 30, divide by 2, and add 7. So 30/2=15+7=22 years old.
