Q: We're divorcing been together for 13 years married 5 with 3 boys I'm a stay @home mom he wants to leave me broke help!!!
He said he will make it to wear he won't have to pay me hardly nothing. He will have his boss write out he makes 9 a hour so he won't have to pay me anything and it's driving me nuts he wanted a woman who would be at home with the children so that's what I've did and now that I'm leaving he claims he will make my life hell how can this be fair. He works and makes very good money and I will need his support to raise my children. But he insists on making it hell and that he has done. I'M broke no where to go and no money bc he won't give me our bank cards or anything. I have no idea were to turn....or what too do???? I want to raise my babies but with 2 in school and one still home I can't even afford to start looking for a job. I have a car and my clothes that's it. He has cheated numerous times during our marriage and mentally abuses me. I can't express to you all how much help I need.
A: You need to consult with a local family law attorney ASAP a few good punches in his wallet and he should come around to being fair with you. Oh, and BTW even if he does get his boss to commit fraud regarding his pay, he can't erase his past income records from taxes and the bank and what you get will be based on that not what he may currently say he is making. So with what you will be entitled to for child and spousal support you will likely be OK.
