Q: My Landlord is ignoring the fact that I'm being harassed by my neighbors. Even when I show them proof of the harassment.
I was assaulted by my former neighbors on 4-28-2016 & it was all caught on video. They were arrested that same day. & Since then my family & I have been getting harassed & lied on constantly by the friends of our former neighbors who still reside in this park & the landlord. We were also granted restraining orders against some of these people. We alerted the landlords about the assault, harassment, lies & the orders of protections that we felt we had to get for our safety. & 1 of their responses to us was. Well Why do you have 9 Orders of protections against the people of this park & why don't you move if you're so afraid of these people? & I responded by saying why should I have to? & why don't you enforce the rules of your lease against the people who are breaking them? They also told us that they blocked only me & my family from sending our complaints to them by email. The landlord also threatened to evict me & my family if I didn't sign some special rules. What can I sue them for?
A: Based on your question, u have no basis to sue them for anything. If the landlord isn't making people follow the rules and you do not like it, your only option is to leave.
