Q: Ex v txt, threatened to share my med history & pic of current scrips w/ "everyone, everywhere" if I refuse his demands.
Also sent me a picture of my career profile page, which he hacked into, with the threat of altering my information so that I will not be suitable for hire. And threatened to contact my boss and have me fired. Proof in texts. Also, after the break-up was agreed upon by both parties, we were still sharing an apartment. I was out of state for 8-9 days, during which time my boyfriend was slowly moving out, he dismantled, destroyed and discarded my deceased grandfather's favorite piano. A treasured family heirloom that held an incredibly deep sentimental value to not only myself but my entire family.
This all sounds illegal to me. Can someone help me?
Thank you
A: if you have proof, then call the police. Best of luck.
William John Light agrees with this answer
A: You are a crime victim. Go to the police. It is unlikely that a lawsuit will give you any relief. The purpose of a lawsuit is recovery of monetary damages. Most ex bf's don't have the kind of money that makes a lawsuit useful. If you have home/renters' insurance, make a claim for the damage to the piano.
