Q: What is the law of international notarization?
Hello. My employer went to a Chinese notary public office to get our employment contract notarized, but the problem is, they won't unless I am there to personally sign it. I can't go there because I can't leave the country without authenticated contract (for exit clearance, notarization is the 1st step). I signed the contract in my country and had it notarized, even attached a CANA from judicial court, mailed it to my employer. Do all notary public offices require personal appearance?? What if it's really impossible?? Hope you can help me.. Thank you
A:
Generally, all notary offices require personal assistance.
I'm a lawyer from China. If you need any help, contact me and I'll see if it's possible
