Q: Need advice about a contract for a bike sale for 1000 in trade for working on a boat.
We have done what we can to fix the boat and have the money to pay for the bike now the owner is refusing to take the money unless we put 500 more with it and refuses to do her part of agreement with getting parts and diagnosis. We never promised to get the boat running. Now she is trying to take both the boat and bike even though we have the bike in our name. Our contract was dated 3/30/18 and it states that we have until 5/31/18 to be paid in full and have the boat fixed. What do we do?
