Q: I am looking for a lawyer to help with a car accident insurance claim loss of vehicle.

What kind of lawyer should i look for I a have been trying for months to no avail and we need to get this settled and get a new car. My daughters car was totaled and she only had minor injuries. we are looking for help in getting the money for the car the insurance company has come back twice with a lesser amount each time and is telling us there is nothing they can do. We feel wronged and they are offering way way less then the classic car was worth.

A: First problem is valuation--unless you can get someone to say your daughter's "classic" is worth more than book that's all you get.

She has an injury claim and that would be the driver, but sounds like you /she may not have documented the injury.

Contact a member of CAOC. They give free consultations, will take the case on a contingent fee.

Good luck!

A: It's not clear whether it's your insurer, or other other party's insurer which is trying to settle your PD claim. Prove your valuation with sales/offers for comparable vehicles. kbb.com, edmunds.com, autotrader.com, craigslist.com; or, high a certified auto appraiser. If you are unsuccessful, sue your insurer in Small Claims court for breach of contract, or sue the other driver in Small Claims court for negligence, depending on which insurer it is with whom you are negotiating.
