Stockton, CA asked in Criminal Law and Domestic Violence for California

Q: Could the da drop charges if I see ex after domestic violence? Read more

So I have a domestic violence court case pending with an ex of mine. He’s facing 3 felonies . Well we met up to talk about things and it got heated and he hit me again this time unlike the last I defended myself , so when the cops came , I wasn’t there anymore . They are making me the suspect in this new situation. Can and if they do decide to prosecute me but I doubt because the wounds I have are severe again! But could the da decide to drop the first charges against him ?

A: 1) You need to seriously consider getting a consult from a local criminal defense attorney, not here online.

2) You need to seriously ask yourself why do you return to this circular mess, time and again?

3) I'm available if you need an attorney in the OC/IE area.
