Q: How do I get a foreign judgment writ of execution (judgment out of cali and needs too b served in Colorado) and how long
I'm trying to seize a vehicle that already has a lien on it from the title company that loaned the judgment debtor funds...Porsche '99...fair market value $15,000.00...$11k owed plus whatever exemption is available for judgment debtor...there may be no equity...can I seize it and keep it or put on auction block ? How long will it take to get a foreign judgment out of Cali and t get a writ of execution in CO?
A: You file the CA judgment in CO and register it. Then you can have process executed by Co on your CA judgment.
