Q: Contract violation between my employer and vendor. Not sure how much I involved in this. Any suggestion

Hi I work for a client A company with the vendor B as a layer of my contract before and and vendor B made a contract with me stating that upon the termination Or completion of the project with the client I shouldn’t either work as a part-time or full-time within a year.. I have been working for client A company for almost 3 years and my client let me go due to budget issues after two weeks my client called me to take me back with the less pay per hour And I accepted it but now I don’t have a vendor B in my contract. After a year some how vendor B got to know that I am working for the same client and they are suing me or my employer for two hundred thousand dollars for The violation of contract termination. According to USCIS H1B law An employee have all rights to work with any company. My employer mentioned me that they are going to take care of it. Also my employer is running payroll and everything for me Not sure how much i involved in this contract breach situation? Do i really have
