Q: Who pays for arbritation filed by myself as a consumer regarding a dispute. I did submit a fee waiver.

Will i be going up against corporate lawyers? I dont have a lawyer. But after several attemps to resolve the issue. I finally resorted to arbritation.

A: The major arbitration firms that operate nationwide have their fee schedule for filing a case. As Mr. Kaufman points out, that should be in their rules. In terms of the type of lawyer you'll be going up against, it could be whoever the company uses. They could have a law firm on call, or they could just pick someone regionally for a single hearing, or they could send a company representative. Good luck
