A: I regret that I do not handle slip and fall cases or personal injury matters. Sorry.

A: It's difficult to say without knowing the terms, conditions, and exclusions of the policy. As a general matter, a homeowner policy should cover ordinary casualties such as slip and fall accidents and other events that result from physical defects in sidewalks, floors, steps, carpets, or other hazards created by negligence. However, it's possible for a policy to exclude coverage for the insured's relatives, or for people living in the same household. It would depend on the policy. This could be determined from reviewing the policy or asking the insurance carrier. Good luck
