Springboro, OH asked in Libel & Slander, Personal Injury and Family Law for Ohio

Q: I am looking to consult with a local attorney in regards to a physical/sexual attack to my mom in a rehab ctr.

Another resident committed the attack, however, the facility didn't respond and react appropriately. I have removed my mother and setting up home health care/rehabilitation. She had complete shoulder replacement and had to fight this resident off of her. She has now had a set-back in her progress as she was using both arms and screaming. It took quite awhile for someone to come to help her.

She is now suffering from severe depression and anxiety. She is not sleeping and has little appetite.

This occurred at 3:00 am Thursday, May 28, 2020.

A: An Ohio attorney could best advise, but your post remains open for two weeks. I'm very sorry for your mother's and your family's ordeal here. Reach out to Ohio attorneys; they won't contact you - this is only a Q & A board. You'll have to contact them. You can search here (the Find-a-Lawyer tab above), you can conduct your own independent searches, or you can look into the Ohio State Bar Association's resources. Good luck for a healthy recovery for your mom.
