A: I think you answered your own question. If you believe you are being discriminated against because of race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, sexual orientation, or military and veteran status, then you should definitely consult an attorney to advise you on how to protect yourself from such discrimination.

There are federal and state agencies, i.e. the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), which each have websites where you can find out how to file a claim of discrimination and how to pursue such a claim. A lawyer with experience in handling discrimination cases can be of immense help to you, and I highly recommend you look for one in the Los Angeles County area. There are so many highly qualified lawyers who handle such cases that you should have no problem finding one.
