A: I assume you mean a "court reporter", the person that takes down all the testimony. It might be a conflict if the fiance were to be the reporter in your divorce proceeding, and you should certainly point that out to the judge if it happens but not likely she would be assigned to a case she has an interest in. Just because she works at the Court does not make a conflict. Often a Judge will have a case where he knows the parties, or their attorneys, personally, he can still hear the case, if he reveals the personal connection, first and the parties agree for him to hear the case.
