A: A Rhode Island attorney could advise best, but your post remains open for two weeks. I'm sorry for your ordeal involving the joint failure. To make a meaningful assessment, an attorney would probably need to review your records with a medical professional - and possibly a biomedical engineer. You could reach out to attorneys for an initial consult. Most practitioners in this area offer free initial consults. Good luck
