Q: found my husband in our bed with another woman. he has moved out with her and his father has given me 2 weeks to get out

He has been threatening me with ridiculous things like turning me into authority for drug dealing and prostitution and tax evasion and unemployment fraud. Said his father was going to sue me for back rent and put an eviction on my record . I had to give back my wedding ring and not allowed to see my 9 year old step daughter who I had for 3 years .my job temp shut down last year to covid then I was told that I wasn’t allowed to leave the house between 8 and 5..I gave him any money I got from taxes stimulas and unemployment. He threatened to kill me and destroy my car .his girlfriend has sent me pictures of them nude together and they just won’t stop. He told me I would never have to worry about a place to live or finances that he always had them.all I have said here is in text messages . Now I have nothing and nowhere to go and only a week to figure it out .and am afraid to sign anything I don’t understand because he said he was going to make my life miserablDo I have any rights at all?

A: So sorry to hear you are being treated this way. Yes, you have rights. Suggest you contact a local Family Law attorney or the Legal Aid society about getting a divorce and seeking a temporary restraining order against your spouse, his girlfriend and his father for the harassment. Meanwhile, you need to get out of that poisonous situation.
