Q: Can my employer drop my pay within a month if hiring through contract?
Started new job under contract, contract states 24$/hr, boss is threatening to drop it to 23$ for asking questions. Is he allowed to do that?
A: Nothing stops him from making threats. But if he does breach your contract by reducing your pay, then use the Find a Lawyer tab to retain a local employment attorney to review the contract and all the facts, and advise you of your options.
