Q: My Co revised the vacation policy and issued a new handbook. My Offer letter gave me more vacation. Will I lose vaca?
A: There is no law that requires employers to offer benefits like paid time off to their employees. If employers do offer paid time off, they have the power to decide how (and how much) vacation time their employees receive. Employers can also change their paid time off policy if they choose, so unfortunately, if your employer changes their policy and this results in you losing some of your vacation time, this is permissible.
