A: You do have a choice, and that is not to work for that employer. Employers have the right to determine the safety rules to assure the ongoing safety of all employees. Employers can require that all employees be vaccinated against Covid19, just the same as when we were all vaccinated as children against measles, mumps, polio, and other childhood diseases.

Do you have a case? In my opinion, no. But you can search for a lawyer who can advise you personally. You can go to the local bar association in your county, which you can find online, and then look for their lawyer referral service (LRS) and reach out to any lawyer who offers free initial consultations and present your matter to him or her, and seek their advice and counsel for the best course of action you can take.

A: You have the freedom to choose not to take the vaccine. No one is lining people up for forced vaccinations. However your employer has the right to choose who it wishes to work with, and terminate at will any employee it determines to be unwilling to act as it wants.

There is no case here.

Good luck to you.
