San Antonio, TX asked in Car Accidents and Personal Injury for Texas

Q: I was recently involved in an auto accident, I was hit by someone who ran a red light, then a few seconds later I was ht

Again. The issue is I had a witness 2 actually ,who spoke to officer but officer did not include their statement on report as he said he did. So I am being blamed for everything. I ended up with a crushed wrist, had a plate and 8 screws put in,still have a broke bone that was found while doing surgery. Surgery was 7hrs. I was making a left on green arrow and the witness who saw everything stated the first car ran the red light and struck me,then she stated she didn't know why the 2nd driver hit me,he had plenty of time to stop. I called the officer to see if he would ammend the report but he was all but rude and refused. He stated some things that were false and kept it that I was at fault even tho the witnesses were there. The 2 who hit me 1 had no insurance, the other no DL. Neither were injured. My Dr. Even stated that I was hit tremendously hard to cause the injury I sustained, I was at most going 5 mph taking left turn and out of no where I was knocked into a 360. I want truth!

A: You need to call your own automobile liability insurance carrier. They will provide a defense for you. After you do that, you can hire a plaintiff's lawyer to assert your claims for you.
