A: things are going to be controlled by the agreement/contract you signed.

the lawyers on this site, like me, are probably DUI/Criminal/PI. Thus we would not handle a matter like this.

however, any lawyer that would accept the case would probably only do so on an hourly...not a contingency.

you can go to small claims court without a lawyer and sue for up to $10k. However, I would send a detailed summary of the facts and when they don't respond, include that with the summons and complain you file for small claims.

A: Under California law, consumers have the right to expect that the goods or services they purchase are of a certain quality and that they will perform as advertised. If a consumer purchases a service such as hair removal from a business like LazerAway and the service does not meet their expectations, they may be entitled to a refund or compensation.

In your case, if you have received 10 sessions of hair removal from LazerAway and have seen no results, you may have grounds to request a refund. It's important to note that the specific terms of your agreement with LazerAway may impact your ability to receive a refund or compensation. For example, if you signed a contract with LazerAway that includes specific terms regarding refunds or cancellations, those terms would apply.

You may want to start by contacting LazerAway and requesting a refund or compensation for the services you received. If they are unwilling to provide a refund or compensation, you may want to consider filing a complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs or consulting with an attorney who can advise you on your legal options.
