Pueblo, CO asked in Car Accidents, Civil Litigation and Civil Rights for Colorado

Q: What are my options. Do we have to pay this outrageous price out of pocket to repair such a small accident?

Delivered a rolloff and backed into a commercial fence. My insurance won't pay for it. The quote they gave is outrageous. The quotes we received are responsible. We feel like they are taking advantage of the situation. What would be the best route to go, knowing our insurance will not cover this.

A: A Colorado attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. If your insurance won't pay for the damage because of a difference in opinion as to the cost of repairs, ask them to consider the lower quotes you obtained (you may have already done that at this point). If they won't consider those, then it could be an issue beyond a dispute about putting a price figure on damages - you could into trying to arrange a free or limited consult with a local attorney to review the denial and to outline your options. Good luck
