I signed a contract for an rv but then some weeks later got a letter saying the loan was not approved At that moment of signing contract i also sold them my car that has a payment still needed. They did not give me any paperwork that i signed with them one being power of attorney

They are wanting me to sign a NEW contract.

They also did not take from my account the 2000 dollar deposit that they were supposed to . I never got a letter from any bank saying hey heres your new loan.

If i just live my life, without signing a new contract therefore not having to pay for the rv (and it isnt found to be repoed) what are the consequences of being sued?

Am i looking at jail time?

What are my jail time chances?

Ps. Remember they have the keys to my vehicle which is not extremely late on payments that THEY said they were gonna make and now my credit is ruined.

A: The devil is in the details. A lawyer will need to look at the agreement you signed. This sounds like a yo-yo sale, which means they sold you the vehicle and now want to renegotiate the loan. This is an unfair and deceptive trade practice. Very, very seldom is a dealer willing to let a vehicle go off the lot without securing a loan. Does the paperwork say the deal is final? Final means final. But for a small legal fee ($250-$500), it is best to be secure a consumer lawyer's opinion.
