A: Being sued is certainly stressful, yet most of the time, needlessly. If this claim stems from an auto accident, contact your insurance company and let them handle the case and worry about it. If you have coverage, the insurance company will provide a qualified attorney to handle the matter. The attorney, the company, assigns you will answer your questions and inform you of his defense of you in the lawsuit. Statistics show that about 90% of all personal injury cases in Texas get settled before a jury trial.

A: Don't lose sleep over it. Turn it over to your insurance carrier. They will set up a claim to handle the matter, and if it evolves into a lawsuit, they should assign an attorney to defend you. Good luck
