Q: ex: you work for a dept for the city 40 hrs. why can you not work for another dept through the temp agy at a lower rate
someone who works for the city in one department wants to help another dept. that is short staffed over the weekends. Why can they not work through the city temp services at the rate for that position? They would not be getting overtime, no comp time built up, not even making what he does in his own department. I understand it is double dipping, but HR I would like to know HOW. They WANT to help the other department who keeps getting flaky people not showing up. Make it make sense?
