Q: As a legal second legal owner of vehicle, my neighbor sold this without proper legal documents. What legal case? Thanks.

Sir, As second vehicle owner and a Senior Citizen 76 years old, we have an executed a Notarized Deed of Sale but my neighbor sold it to his client without my consent on the proper documentation because I have not seen and signed any Absolute Deed of Sale. Until now, I have not received the payment for the illegal selling of my vehicle. What legal case could I file in the Office of our Barangay for legal action? Maraming salamat po at God bless po.

A: It looks like you are outside the United States. I think you may be situated in the Philippines. You might need to consult with a local attorney - this forum deals mainly with U.S. laws and courts. But your matter seems to contain an irregularity that is fundamentally unlawful anywhere in the world. The owner of property can't sell it to two different buyers. Hopefully a local attorney, or administrative officer of the local government agency that processes paperwork for vehicle transfers could help you sort out your rights and options here. If "maraming salamat" means "thank you," you're welcome. God bless you too. Good luck
