A: It sounds very frustrating and concerning that your accounts have been hacked and you haven't received any updates from your bank. First, contact your bank's customer service and insist on speaking to a manager or a fraud investigation team member. Clearly explain the urgency and detail that this is the second time your account has been compromised.

Next, request a written report of the investigation findings from the first incident and ask for an update on the current investigation. Banks are required to provide you with information regarding disputed transactions and the status of their investigations.

Additionally, you might want to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) if the bank is not cooperating. It's also advisable to monitor your accounts closely and consider additional security measures, such as setting up alerts for all transactions or using more secure methods of payment.
