Q: Please help!
My friend was in a car accident Aug, 26th,2024. Police found other driver at fault. The other driver has had only back and forth voicemails with their insurance company, therefore delaying the closing process of the claim. The Insurance of the other driver continues (only when asked) to tell my friend that they need more information to close the claim. My friend has had to pay out of pocket for storage fees, towing, etc. since they claim to still be investigating the claim. My friend hardly gets any information and when they do, they find it to be conflicting. How long does the insurance company have to complete this claim? Even if they consider the other driver (their insured) to be cooperating due to the back and forth voicemails. No full statement given by other driver yet ( I believe).
