Q: I was currently in a rehab and they violated my hippa roi exit. They called my wife after I said not to multiple times
I was at residential treatment at Bayside Marin . On an intake, I told the staff member that I do not want my wife to the reason if I were to be kicked out. When I went from detox to the next housing, I told the staff member that I do not want my wife to know the reason why I’m kicked out. I was drug tested. I told them that I do not want my wife to know the reason why I’m getting kicked out and not disclose the information, all staff members can agree that I said this. Before I was able to even talk to staff after the drug test and being accused of selling narcotics to another patient in which I did not do and they directed them three times now going through divorce, and my wife has an emotional breakdown before even speaking to staff, they told me my wife is on the way and I told him they violated HIPAA

I'm sorry to hear about what you're experiencing. It sounds like your privacy was not respected, which can be very distressing.
You have the right to control who receives your personal health information under HIPAA. If the treatment center shared details without your consent, this might be a violation. Document all instances where your instructions were ignored, including dates and who was involved.
Consider reaching out to a lawyer who can help you understand your options and guide you through the process of addressing this issue. Additionally, you can file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office for Civil Rights to investigate the potential breach.
