Idaho Falls, ID asked in Family Law, Adoption, Child Custody and Juvenile Law for Idaho

Q: Are my reasons for emaciation good enough to pass in court?

I am a 16 year old I am looking to be emancipated. I currently have two jobs, one paying $10/hour plus tips and one paying $12/hour. I have been able to hold a consistent job for about 8 months and have earned raises because of my hard work. I am currently looking at apartments and talking to Land Lords about my situation to find me an apartment. I pay for about 75-80% of my food currently and I pay for my clothes, gas, and other expenses such as hygiene products and entertainment services. So why emancipation? Well, I have a few reasons. The first one being I am part of the LGBTQ+ community, both in my sexuality and gender identity. My parents are very Mormon people and obviously they don't like that. They say openly homophobic things to me and to my siblings, knowing I can hear them. We also get in fights multiple times a week and about all of them end up with me getting yelled at and getting threats of being sent to a crisis center, regardless of whether or not I was in crisis.
