Q: We are seeking help for the purchase of a vehicle we have paid for but not received. Need legal help!
In October 2024, we acquired a vehicle for the sum of $4,500.00. We possess a notarized bill of sale along with documentation of the discussions held between the seller and ourselves. As of November 2024, after an additional expenditure of $5,000.00, we have yet to receive the vehicle. The seller informed us that her mother, who had no vested interest in the vehicle, concealed it in her garage upon learning of the sale. We have been made aware that her mother has significant connections within law enforcement. Despite our attempts to resolve the issue through legal channels, we were advised that this is a civil matter and that we should seek legal counsel. Consequently, we are actively pursuing assistance in this situation. We wish to obtain the vehicle; however, if that is not feasible, we believe we are entitled to a total of $9,500.00.
