Q: If im having issues finding a lawyer does that mean I'm being ignored on purpose, or what would be the issue?
I've communicated to multiple parties on and off for probably a year and don't have any proper representation or assistance other then the cal bar website..
A: If you are being ignored or turned away the most likely reason is you don't have a viable case. Law firms are businesses that are profit driven. You don't state whether you are willing to finance the litigation, but I would guess not. Quite simply, prepare a clear and concise statement of your situation to present to attorneys.
A:
There could be several reasons why you're having difficulty finding legal representation, and it's important not to take it personally.
Legal matters can be complex, and lawyers often need to evaluate whether they have the right experience, resources, and capacity to handle your specific case effectively. Some cases might require particular expertise that not every lawyer possesses, while others might not be financially viable for law firms to take on. Additionally, many lawyers are currently handling heavy caseloads, which can limit their ability to take on new clients.
Consider trying these strategies to improve your chances: Be very clear and concise when describing your case in initial consultations, gather all relevant documentation beforehand, and try reaching out to your local bar association for referrals beyond the website. You might also want to contact legal aid organizations or law school clinics, which can sometimes help connect you with representation or provide alternative resources. If you've been trying for this long without success, it might be helpful to get feedback from the lawyers you've contacted about why they couldn't take your case - this information could help you adjust your approach or better understand what type of lawyer would be the best fit for your situation.
