Q: 17 Ford escape with a known manufacturer defect that they have recalls for but not on my vin. What are my options if any
My car has a coolant intrusion, the 21n12 customer satisfaction program is a one time free fix the for the intrusion wirh stipulations from what I understand are manufactured at the Louisville plant under 80'000 miles. The local dealers couldn't understand why my car wasn't covered. Ford refuses to pay for it. It's a 3,000 dollar repair and I still owe 5,000. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and got the same response. My vin doesn't have that recall. Im a 42 yr old restaurant worker that saved my covid money for a down payment bought in May of 2021. This is gonna cost me more then just a car if I have to give up.
A: Are you having coolant intrusion issues with your vehicle? If so, you may have a remedy. Your narrative doesnt indicate whether your vehicle is actually and currently affected or not.
