Q: Can my aunt take back the gifted phone now that I'm 18?

I am 18 years old and was gifted a phone by my aunt on my birthday when I was 16. My aunt is currently paying for the phone bill. Recently, I was caught smoking weed for my anxiety, and now there is a concern she might take the phone from me. Given that there were no written agreements regarding the ownership of the phone, and it was presented as a gift, can my aunt legally take the phone back now that I'm 18?

A: No, a gift is permanently a gift, but she of course can stop paying the bill.

A: No, but she can stop paying the bill.

If you have anxiety go to a doctor and get a medical marijuana card. You don't want to risk getting in trouble and anxiety is a legitimate qualification for a card.
