Generally, yes. There is precedent for a general requirement to get vaccinated. Many healthcare providers require flu vaccines. Schools require children be vaccinated against a host of diseases. But they have to offer exemptions for those with legitimate medical or religious reasons not to be... View More
Hi, I am working on my will. Not sure if I need to see an attorney to get this done. It's very basic and simple. One problem I may have is my dad passed away 14 years ago and left the family piano to my older sister. The thing is I have had it all this time because she claims she has no way to... View More

You will want to reach out to your sister and at the very least get a clear, written statement that she is giving you the piano before you put it in your will and try to pass it on to your children or anyone else. If you don't have clear ownership of the piano and you will it to someone else,... View More

An Ohio attorney could advise best, but your post remains open for two weeks. As a general practice, insurance companies do pursue such claims. They paid their insured; it's likely they are alleging the root cause of the fire was attributable to you. You could consult with an attorney to... View More
It was from may 2019, the person called and said she had permission, she didn't know she had a warrant for it as they never served it. The judge gave her a $10,000 bond. They never offered her a attorney or public defender

Your question doesn't state what the offense is. $10k is a middle of the road bond number that could apply to any number of offenses. In many counties, one must apply for a public defender. You should contact the local public defender's office to find out the procedure.
When enrolling they want my insurance information an policy number

An Ohio attorney would be able to advise best, as state health care or privacy laws could apply, but your question remains open for two weeks. You could speak with other parents and look into why the information is being requested, whether for the information to be on hand in the event of a medical... View More
I want to know if there are ways I can be allowed into stores. I will be wearing surgical n95 masks to ensure I will not infect anyone but again my cough is not caused by health problems.

Your question remains open for three weeks, and it could be something that a doctor might be able to advise about better than an attorney could. If you have health concerns, consult with a doctor as to what it might be. Hopefully, a doctor could help you in terms of the best course of action. Good... View More
I was off work for a total of 6 days. I started showing signs of Covid-19 and sought out medical attention. I was turned away from my family doctor because I had several symptoms of Covid-19. I took an online health screening that advised me to get tested and quarantine until testing was done. I... View More

FMLA does not provide for paid leave, so that's out. As to unemployment, that is filed with the state, and they make that determination. Did the state give you a reason as to why they refused unemployment compensation? It sounds like you just voluntarily left the job.
I, and by extention my family, have been harassed. My car and cell phone stolen (tho thankfully items were retrieved by family) and I reason to suspect I have been drugged, all by the same person

You should contact the police to fill out a report and likely a civil protection order to keep the person away. Talk with an attorney to file a temporary restraining order against the person. The first thing is to stop the threat immediately, then worry about a civil suit at a later time.
So my mother and I own a house together. I am on the deed of the house. She is trying to evict my boyfriend and father of my child out of the house we all live in. He pays one bill that is in her name. Can I fight her on trying to evict him? Can she even legally evict him if hes paying her... View More

If your mother owns the home, then she can evict your boyfriend. Simple as that. Since he has lived there 2+ years, she will have to go through the formal eviction process as he has clearly established residency there. It does not matter at all that he has been helping to pay bills.
Just bothers me now he doesn't call me or anything

You can retain an automobile with a mechanic's lien without filing anything so long as you don't violate any portions of the Ohio Consumer Sales Protection Act (OSCPA), specifically everything in OAC 109:4-3-13 Motor vehicle repairs or services. Your situation is a little different in... View More

Their actions are likely violations of Ohio's Consumer Sales Practices Act. If they haven't paid you but have demanded more money before they give you a refund, you can likely seek your damages from them, plus treble (three times) damages, and reasonable attorney fees.

You would have better chances of an attorney who is familiar with pay-related matters seeing your question in the Employment Law category. You could try reposting there. Good luck

Sort of. Legally you can date whomever you please, but you must also obey reasonable rules set by your parents. Not dating adult men is a reasonable rule.
