You'll need to either get your license back or be prepared to get a lawyer. Some counties will dismiss the case if you just get your license back, others will make you get a lawyer

I think that's a gray area. They technically may but it's unlikely given your reason to stop the real perpetrator from fleeing

If the ticket got dismissed, then what would cause your license to be suspended? That alone shouldn't cause you to lose your license,especially since it got dismissed

This is not my first ticket and I was wondering what the out come could be in court? Also I am 21 and there is no way out on the ticket the officer actually gave me a break not doing more than he did

Always go to court for traffic tickets. Since you're 21 and have priors, you want to get an attorney to hopefully get this reduced or kept off your record.

Hire an attorney and see what kind of deal they can get for you. If you weren't driving, try the case and make them prove you have violated the law!
