My ex went make a false police report saying that I hit her. Then went to court and said that I wanted to kill myself. I was pick up from my job and they had me stay overnight. Everything that my ex has stated is a lie and I want to know what can I do about it?

No, you cannot. The police have no duty to protect you. There is a lot of case law on this topic. You simply have no cause of action.
My friend was in an accident in FL and was not cited the day of the accident. Is there a statute of limitation for her to still be charged?

It takes as long as it takes. The State can file charges any time within the statute of limitations. She needs to hire an aggressive attorney ASAP, though, because the State is building its case now.
