Q: i am a Student and Have completed my masters and Applied for OPT.I got an RFE asking for evidence to establish proposed

employment is related to my field of study.

A detailed Description of duties with the employer.

Actually i studied in CT but during my application i stated the address in California and sent my package to california. i have never been to california as my family friend(A green Card Holder)lives there i gave that address.

Under the Proof of Residence. they asked me

The address of your School is in CT. However your current address is in California. As such provide a list of all the addresses where you have resided in USA with exact from and to dates. Submit proof for all residential addresses in USA including but not limited to photocopies of complete bank statement, telephone bills, lease agreement and mail correspondence from your School. provide proof of current address and telephone no.

I am currently in texas, Can i submit my State ID and transcripts as address proofs. i dont have a any agreements?

A: You would submit anything that truly notates your address. When submitting forms you should only put an address if it is a mailing address in the appropriate section. When it asks for places you have lived, it means places where you actually physically resided. You might need to submit further explanation on your forms as well. I recommend consulting with an immigration attorney and having them review all documents before you turn anything else in. If you have a cell phone or internet/cable bill, something like that will help. I wish you the best.
