Elk Grove, CA asked in Business Law, Insurance Bad Faith and Insurance Defense for California

Q: AAA breaking insurance code requirements in California

I had AAA insurance, well technically still do, and it expires today. For some reason i decided to check my policy online and noticed there were no updated renewal documents. Called AAA asking for updated identification cards to realize, I was being given a non-renewal due to an increase in points on a couple of drivers on my policy. They are now expecting me to provide payment in order to have temporary insurance, but after reading section 663 of California's insurance code, I feel as if I shouldn't be paying them. Can someone advise on what I should do?
