Los Angeles, CA asked in Personal Injury, Employment Law and Gov & Administrative Law for California

Q: The regional manager DIR called me to say she instructed personal from the commissioner office not to address me anymore

I’m waiting on a hearing date for my wage claim and went to file forms to subpoenaea personal records and payroll records from my employer but they have never processed subpoenas and can’t do that. Then they refused to tell me my assigned deputy handling my case name and they said that they will not give me any information on my case whatsoever. that’s all they will tell me. Is that legal I know that they are preventing me from helping my case like the retaliation complaint investigator that dismissed my case and transferred out of the department the day she didn’t tell me she took all my evidence and rebuttal and redacted it from her findings as if it was never found in the discovery processs. she threatened me in the conference meeting to settle my case or she would close my case because she had requested a transfer out of the department and i was her last case. I declined so she abused her employment roll as the fact finder and intentionally made me pay for declining her offer.
