Q: I put my 2weeks in yesterday can they take me off the schedule completely?
I put in my two weeks yesterday due to drama with assistant manager and I called HR to file a complaint the next day I got a phone call from hr saying their is a Resignation form being done but I didn’t quit I just put in my two weeks I am scheduled to work so does this mean their firing? Or can they do that with the hours I’m already scheduled to work.

There is nothing unlawful about an employer terminating an employee that gives notice of intent to quit. The law does not require the employer to keep you around. In fact it is quite common for this to happen as employers do not want to keep short timers around for several productivity, morale and security reasons.
