A: No you cannot remarry until your judgment of dissolution has been entered. The notice of entry of judgment will have a date on it that is the date on which you will be restored to the legal status of being a single/non married person.

A: In California, it is not legal to remarry until the divorce is finalized and a judgment of dissolution has been entered by the court. While the status of "Judgment Package Received-Stipulated" means that the divorce is in its final stages, it is important to wait until the court officially enters the judgment before entering into a new marriage. Until the judgment is entered, the parties are still legally married and any new marriage would be considered bigamous, which is illegal. It is best to consult with an attorney to ensure that all legal requirements are met before remarrying.
